Holiday Items: What's Next?

We're getting to a point here where the rare spawns are wrapping up for the summer. As far as we know, this is the last week and after that, the next time that rares will be available is during Halloween. The discussions on the forums have died down and the riots have subsided.

Now it's time to talk about the next steps for Holiday Items. The previous poll mandates that they're released as non-discontinued items, meaning they'll be released every year on their respective holidays. I don't believe that'll change any time soon. The previous poll also mandates that all holiday items are easy to get on their respective holidays. The rest is up to the community. It is the time to begin the discussions and make our voices heard about the situation. I firmly believe that the OSRS JMods will deliver on whatever we decide as a community.

There are so many things that can be done and this is just the start of the discussions. Do you want to see more community events, like Mod Mat K's livestreams, or perhaps have them dropped like they were over the summer, or a fun holiday quest? Do you want the untradeable items released in a different way than the tradeable items? Do you want it to change every year?

Whatever your ideas are, let them be known. You never know what can happen and we can really have some fun things happening. We're about two months away from the first holiday event, which is Halloween, so let's start brainstorming together.
